CocoaHeads Helsinki #2

The second CocoaHeads Helsinki meetup was held last Thursday 9 June 2011 at MK&C office. There was only about 10 persons present, since WWDC was going on elsewhere.

We still had good time, nobody missed WWDC. Yep :)

The official program was a "presentation about PONSO & mogenerator" by Nikita Zhuk. I already knew that CoreData was "heavy", but hearing from it from a person with 8-some years of Mac OS and iOS development experience in detail was really convincing. Special thanx for reminding about binary plist, got to refresh what it is and add to my personal toolbox.

Afterwards we found out that we had Markus Piipari from Pear Computer LLP, one of Draw Jump developers, with us. He told a little bit about game development and business. Most likely he also volunteered to give a CocoaHeads speech in some future meetup. Looking forward to that!
